She’s been practicing as a doula for nineteen years and has been privileged to be part of almost 100 births (testimonials at DoulaMatch.net), as well as numerous presentations and classes on birth, breastfeeding, and women’s health. Her birth philosophy is rooted in the strength and innate wisdom of women (and any gender human being who is giving birth), the mind-body connection, the power of positive energy (including words, laughter, and movement), and the practical notion of using what you have and doing what it takes, in whatever situation you’re given. Her primary goal as doula is to provide unconditional support for a birthing person and their partner during labor and the early postpartum period, doing all she can to create a positive, empowering birthing environment, whatever the birthing person’s choice, plan, and reality.

Birth Doula

Postpartum Doula

“I am a first time expecting mother and was referred to Lindsay by my midwife. Lindsay promptly responded to my inquiry for scheduling childbirth classes and was extremely flexible around my husband and I’s busy schedule! I was previously rather nervous and unknowledgeable of Labor, Pain, Comfort Measures, Postpartum and Newborn Care, however, after taking class 1 and class 3 I am now feeling informed, empowered, and excited for my daughters arrival! I can’t say enough positive things about Lindsay and will forever cherish having her out to my home to teach my husband, my mother, and I! I highly recommend Transformed Birth Services because I now have a beautifully transformed understanding of childbirth! – Megan

“She was amazing, always there when I needed her, her support made me decide to have her in my future pregnancies.” – Safia

“I received the best support I feel possible. My doula was there every step of the way when I needed. She helped me stay informed of my choices and explained risks and benefits of everything happening and said. I wish I had come across them sooner in previous pregnancies. Definitely filling a need in our community.” – Desiree

“Transformed Birth Services was there when I needed the most help with my children. I enjoyed my time with the postpartum doulas a lot. They educated me with a compassionate wisdom that I so appreciated. They also actively strived to be inclusive of various family structures, which was also so important to us.” – Anonymous
