To help address maternal/infant health disparities, in 2024, West Central Indiana-Fetal Infant Mortality Review and the Tippecanoe County Health Department will be partnering with Transformed Birth Services to provide the CommUNITY Pregnancy Support Program. A diverse team of doulas and nurse practitioners will meet monthly with underserved populations in a group setting to provide education, support, and connection to resources. The group will meet at Bauer Family Resources, where many social needs can be met on site.
